COLUMBUS, Ohio – Assistant coaches Chris Holick and Josh Newman have announced their starting pitchers for Game 3 of the Scarlet & Gray World Series. Senior Paul Geuy will start for Gray while sophomore Jaron Long will toe the rubber for Scarlet. Admission is free and first pitch is set for 6 p.m. Wednesday at Bill Davis Stadium.
Diamond Club Cookout The Buckeye Diamond Club will hold its annual fall cookout beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the stadium. The cookout is free but donations are gladly accepted.
The Series So Far Gray holds a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series, coming back to defeat Scarlet in both games. For Gray, Brad Hallberg has gone 4-for-6 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored and the pitching staff has a solid 3.60 ERA. Brad Hutton is 4-for-6 with a pair of doubles while David Corna is 3-for-8 with a double and a home run for Scarlet.
