COLUMBUS, Ohio - Take a look back at the boys' trip to Pensacola, Fla., last weekend. Ohio State went 2-1 during the Cox Diamond Invitational highlighted by a 9-6 win over No. 15 Southern Miss at Blue Wahoos Stadium. Conner Pohl led the Buckeyes at the plate with a .364 average with a home run and three RBI. Brady Cherry also homered with a double and three RBI. Dominic Canzone and Tyler Cowles each had four hits too.
SPRING BREAK TRIP UP NEXT
The Buckeyes (7-4) are preparing for a six-game road trip during their spring break trip. The Scarlet and Gray are set to compete at the Environmental Staffing Chanticleer Classic March 9-11 in Conway, S.C. Ohio State will play two games against High Point and two contests vs. No. 24 Chanticleers. All games will be played at Spring Brooks Stadium. The team will then take a bus trip north for a two-game road series at UNCW March 13-14 in Wilmington, N.C.
