2011 (Redshirt Freshman): Did not see any game action as a reserve infielder.

Upper Arlington H.S.: Phil helped lead Upper Arlington to one of its finest seasons in 20 years as a senior, hitting .411 with 31 RBI for a 23-9 team that won a district title and advanced to a regional semifinal ... also had three home runs and 15 stolen bases and was 3-0 with two saves and a 2.72 earned run average on the mound ... picked up the win in relief vs. Grove City in district championship game ... played for former Buckeye Matt Middleton as a senior ... named first team All-Ohio Capital Conference in both baseball and football as a senior ... a second team All-Metro pick in baseball in 2010 by the Columbus Dispatch ... also earned Associated Press special mention All-Ohio honors in football ... Phil is considering majoring in biology at Ohio State.

Personal: Phil is the son of Mary and Bob Jaskot ... he has three younger siblings: sisters Marissa and Rebecca and a brother, Daniel.
