Dr. Phillips/Polk State College: Brad transferred to Ohio State prior to the start of the 2010 academic year from Polk State College in Winter Haven, Fla. ... he is majoring in consumer affairs ... he combined to hit over .300 with 24 home runs and 25 doubles in his two years at Polk after initially enrolling at Georgia Southern ... at Polk, he was named 2009 team MVP and was team captain and first team All-Suncoast Conference as a catcher in 2010 ... hit 13 home runs and had 58 RBI on the season ... played summer ball with the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs of the Florida Collegiate Summer League this year and hit a league-high six home runs.
