Walsh Jesuit H.S.: Greg, a pre-business major at Ohio State, was a 45th-round draft pick by the San Francisco Giants in the 2010 MLB First-Year Player Draft ... this came after he was named a 2010 Louisville Slugger All-American after going 8-1 with a 2.66 earned-run average in 47 innings pitched as a senior at Walsh Jesuit ... he struck out 66 against just nine walks ... one of the Top 10 players in the state as a senior, according to the Buckeye Scout ... for his career, the 2010 Under Armour Preseason All-American posted a 20-3 record on the mound ... he struck out 126 batters in 96.2 innings pitched as a junior and senior ... played third base when not on the mound and hit .400 in 2010 with 27 RBI and 27 runs scored.
