2012 (Junior): Played in 35 games, making 26 starts ... third on the team with a .291 batting average with four doubles, 16 runs scored and 14 RBI ... ranked second on the team with 14 stolen bases in 14 attempts ... went 9-for-18 with three runs scored, one double six RBI and three stolen bases at the Snowbird Classic (3/2-4) ... tallied a career-high four RBI against Michigan (3/2) ... six-consecutive multi-hit games from 3/2-9 batted .400 with two runs scored and an RBI in two games played vs. Nebraska (4/13-15).

2011 (Sophomore): Made 24 appearances, starting seven of them in the outfield ... batted .182 with a double, three runs batted in and eight runs scored ... went 2-for-2 in stolen base opportunities ... picked up first career hit, going 1-for-3 with a run scored in an 8-7 win over St. John's (2/20) ... 1-for-1 with two runs scored vs. Yale (3/12) ... picked up his first multi-hit game, going 2-for-3 with a walk and a run score vs. Army (3/13) ... 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI against Oklahoma State (5/10).

2010 (Freshman): Joe did not see any action in a crowded outfield that included three seniors, including two who were named All-Big Ten outfielders, and 2011 team captain Brian DeLucia.

2009 (Redshirt): Redshirted the season as a true freshman.

Hilliard Davidson H.S.: Named second team All-Central District and honorable mention All-Ohio Capital Conference (OCC) Buckeye Division in 2008 ... Honorable mention all-state in 2007 and 2008 as selected by the Ohio High School Coaches Association ... second team OCC as a sophomore in 2006 ... Hit .395 with seven doubles, two triples, 30 runs, and 21 RBI with 33 stolen bases...team's leading base stealer in 2006, 2007, 2008 and leading run producer in 2006 and 2007... helped Davidson win 2006 Division I Ohio state football championship with a key 50-yard kickoff return and an interception in final three minutes of regulation...Davidson won title, 36-35, in double overtime to cap 15-0 season ... a member of the National Honor Society and was on the staff of his school's magazine, the "Wildcat."
