Congratulations to The Ohio State Spirit Program bringing home Top Ten finishes and University "firsts"!

The Ohio State Spirit Program just returned home from college Nationals in Orlando Florida!

For the first time in the History of Ohio State Brutus Buckeye represented the University at this Mascot Championship. Brutus went into the competition with a 10th place in the country status. Brutus did an outstanding performance, placing 4th in the skit competition on Friday night which gave him a 7th place ranking overall! Way to GO BRUTUS BUCKEYE!

The Ohio State Cheerleaders represented very well going into the competition stronger then they have been and pulling a 5th place status on Saturday, on Sunday they ended up with an 8th place finish overall. Again, another top 10 finish for the Buckeyes. Not only was this 8th place Nationally, but they ranked 1st in the Big Ten!

The Ohio State Dance team also had their best showing to date! The dancers competed in both Jazz and Pom at the National Championship. The dance team pulled through with a 5th place finish in Jazz and a 5th place finish in Pom, these being the highest overall placement since the 3rd place finish in 1992.

This is the first time all three groups have representing the University and all three brought home a top 10 finish!
