Luoma and Binnie Selected for 2014 NCAA Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio State rifle team fell just short of qualifying as a team but will still be well represented at the 2014 NCAA Championshsips, which are scheduled to take place March 14-15 at Pat Spurgin Rifle Range and CFSB Center on the campus of Murray State.
Senior Amanda Luoma is one of only two competitors nationwide to qualify as an individual in both the smallbore and air rifle competitions, while freshman Deanna Binnie caps off an impressive rookie campaign by qualifying as an individual in smallbore.
It is the second-consecutive appearance at the NCAA championships for Luoma. She finished eighth-overall in smallbore competition while placing 41st in air rifle.
Smallbore competition takes place Friday, March 14, with air rifle concluding the championships Saturday, March 15.
