COLUMBUS, Ohio – Amanda Furrer of the Ohio State rifle team has been selected to shoot at the NCAA Rifle Championships March 9-10 in Columbus.
Furrer was invited to shoot as an individual in the smallbore rifle competition which will be held March 9 at Lt. Hugh W. Wylie Range in Converse Hall. The junior is coming off a first place finish in both individual events with a 586 in air rifle and a 579 in smallbore at the the NRA/NCAA qualifying match Feb. 18 in Columbus.
Furrer has recorded a seventh and eighth place finish in smallbore at NCAAs her first two seasons.
