The Ohio State University rifle team concluded the regular season with a match at Akron against the Zips and Rose Hulman.
The Buckeyes (2269) fell behind Akron (2271) by two points in smallbore, but bested them in air rifle 2314 to 2295 to solidify the overall team victory.
Ohio State posted a total score of 4583. Akron fired a 4566 and Rose Hulman a 4342.
In smallbore the Buckeyes were led by junior Amanda Luoma who fired a season high 581. Maxwell Snyderman (565), Remington Lyman (564), Megan Polonsky (559), Greg Hagar (558) and Daniel Chapman (560) rounded out team scoring for Ohio State.
Hagar led the way for the Buckeyes in air rifle firing a 582. He was closely followed by Luoma (580), Snyderman (577) and Chapman (575). Lyman (572) and Polonsky (569) rounded out a solid team effort in air rifle.
The Buckeyes have a week off before returning to action at the NCAA Qualifier hosted by Ohio State.
