Gregory Hagar shot a 581 in air rifle for 6th place against Murray State

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State rifle team (4-3) hosted Murray State Sunday at the Lt. Hugh W. Wylie Range in Converse Hall. The Racers of Murray State won the meet, out shooting the Buckeyes, 4,621 to 4,614. Ohio State won the smallbore rifle event, 2,296 to 2,293 while Murray State won the air rifle event, 2,328 to 2,318.
Individually, OSU’s Amanda Furrer won both events shooting a 589 in both. Murray State’s Kelsey Emme finished second in both events with a 577 in smallbore rifle and a 583 in air rifle. OSU’s Lauren Alman finished fifth in smallbore rifle with a 571 while Gregory Hagar was sixth in air rifle with a 581.
Ohio State completes the fall schedule at Nebraska Saturday, Nov. 19.
