Lauren Alman finished fifth in air rifle with a 583 against Kentucky and Murray State

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio State rifle team (4-2) hosted Kentucky and Murray State Saturday in Converse Hall. Kentucky was the overall winners shooting a 4,664 to 4,603 for Murray State and 4,597 for Ohio State. The Wildcats won both events shooting a 2,306 in smallbore rifle and a 2,358 in air rifle. Murray State, with a 2,286 in smallbore rifle and a 2,317 in air rifle was second in both events with OSU shooting 2,286 in smallbore rifle and a 2,314 in air rifle. Kentucky's
Henri Junghanel was the top shooter in both events scoring a 585 in smallbore rifle and 593 in air rifle. Teammate Emily Holsopple also shot a 585 in smallbore rifle. Ohio State's top finisher in smallbore rifle was Amanda Furrer, finishing third with a 579. Furrer was fifth in air rifle with a 586.
