Gregory Hagar finished second in air rifle at Morehead State

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State (4-0) rifle team recorded a 4,607 to 4,549 victory at Morehead State Saturday. The Buckeyes won both events, shooting a 2,294 in smallbore rifle to 2,277 for Morehead State. OSU had a 2,313 to 2,272 advantage in air rifle.
Ohio State’s Amanda Furrer won all three individual titles shooting a 589 in smallbore rifle, a 592 in air rifle and 1,181 in the two-gun aggregate. Buckeye Amanda Luoma finished second in smallbore rifle with a 576 while Gregory Hagar was second in air rifle with a 582.
The Buckeyes continue play this fall hosting Kentucky and Murray State Nov. 12 and facing Murray State Nov. 13.
