Student-Athlete Spotlight: A.J. Tourigny, Pistol

The current team captain of the Ohio State pistol team, A.J. Tourigny is a six-time All-American and two-time Academic All-Big Ten student-athlete. The senior earned NRA First Team All-America honors in free and air pistol (2011-12) as well as NRA Second Team All-America honors in free pistol (2013) and Honorable Mention accolades in air pistol (2013). A Fitchburg, Mass., native, Tourigny helped guide the open pistol team to a second-place finish at the 2011 NRA National Championships as well as to a third-place and fourth-place finish at the 2012 and 2013 NRA National Championships, respectively.
The Buckeyes compete at the 2014 NRA National Championships March 8-15 at Ft. Benning in Columbus, Ga.

What is your top skill? What do you need to improve? Free Pistol is my favorite gun, while Standard Pistol is definitely an area I could work on.
Most interesting place I've visited - Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs

Favorite home cooked meal - Nothing better than mom's roast beef and mashed potatoes

Early Bird or Night Owl? - Both. Would you be the O, H, I or the O? - I - because I'm scrawny enough to blow over in a stiff breeze.
