ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Ohio State University pistol squad traveled to the U.S. Naval Academy over the weekend and topped the Midshipmen in both the open and women's competition. The Buckeyes bested Navy overall by a tally of 6,417-6,146 and a 2,678-2,583 advantage in the women's aggregate.

Anthony McCollum finished as the top point-scoring Buckeye, accumulating a total of 1,621. Irina Andrianova paced the women's side, recording a two-event total of 918 in the women's competition while also contributing in two of the three open competitions. She fired a 544 in Standard Pistol to lead all competitors.
Next up for the Scarlet & Gray is a westward trip to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. (Oct. 27-28). The expectation competition includes Army, Coast Guard, North Dakota State and Utah.
