EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Ohio State pistol team defeated Michigan State 5,420-4,543 Saturday at the MSU Demmer Shooting Sports Center. The Buckeyes won all five events and took first place individually in each event.
Ohio State’s Blake Reburn had a career high day winning free pistol (half match) (264), standard pistol (549), and air pistol (565) to clinch a 3-gun aggregate win at 1378.
In women’s competition, senior captain Amanda Watters took sport pistol with a 549 and was a runner-up in air pistol with a 351 to win the women’s 2-gun aggregate with a 900. Mariah Skiles shot a personal best 359 to win the women’s air pistol competition, edging out runner-up Kim Hullings, who shot a 358.
