Emil Milev was named the head coach of the Ohio State pistol program in September of 2017.
Milev brings a tremendous amount of international shooting experience with him to Columbus. He has shot in six Olympic Games and earned the silver medal in the Atlanta games in 1996. The Bulgaria born Milev competed for his home country in the 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004 games before moving to the U.S. in 2004 and becoming a U.S. citizen in 2009. He then competed in both the 2012 games in London and 2016 games in Rio for the U.S. Milev is also a six-time World Championship participant, earning the silver medal in 1994.
