Buckeyes to compete against Penn and Princeton at Penn Invitational

Columbus, Ohio-The Ohio State fencing squad will compete in the Penn Invitational Saturday vs. Penn and Princeton with competition starting at 9 a.m.
Previously for the Buckeyes
The Penn Invitational marks the third team competition for the Buckeyes, following the OSU Duals and the Elite Exhibition Match against Notre Dame. The Scarlet and Gray swept the OSU Duals, 13-0, extending their undefeated streak at the event to 10 consecutive years. At the Elite Exhibition Match, the Buckeyes just fell short of the Fighting Irish, in team competition, 249-244. The Penn Invitational will be the first away team competition for the Ohio State fencers.
Most recently, 30 Buckeye fencers competed in the November North American Cup in Cleveland. Five fencers earned Top-25 finishes, highlighted by a bronze medal credited to foilist Eleanor Harvey.
Buckeye swashbucklers return to the strips on Dec. 13 for the December Division I North American Cup in Dallas.
