Buckeyes Set To Compete In Elite Invitational
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State fencing team will travel to Philadelphia, Pa. for University of Pennsylvania’s Elite Invitational this weekend. The competition will take place on Saturday beginning at 9:00 a.m.
University of Notre Dame, University of North Carolina, Princeton University, Columbia University, Johns Hopkins University, the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Air Force, Temple, and Northwestern University will all compete along with the Buckeyes and Penn Quakers.
The women’s squad will square off with Temple University at 9:00 a.m. on strips 13 and 14, University of Notre Dame at 10:30 a.m. on strips 17 and 18, University of Pennsylvania at 12:30 p.m. on strips 7 and 8, Air Force at 2:00 p.m. on strips 15 and 16, University of North Carolina at 3:30 p.m. on strips 3 and 4, and Northwestern University at 5:00 p.m. on strips 13 and 14.
The men’s squad will take on Princeton University at 9:00 a.m. on strips 15 and 16, University of Notre Dame at 10:30 a.m. on strips 15 and 16, University of Pennsylvania at 12:30 p.m. on strips 10 and 11, Air Force at 2:30 p.m. on strips 17 and 18, and University of North Carolina at 3:30 p.m. on strips 1 and 2.
VON DADELSZEN FINISHES STRONG IN NOVEMBER NORTH AMERICAN CUP
Women’s epeeist Emma von Dadelszen competed in the November North American Cup in Kansas City, Mo. this past weekend, finishing in tenth place after defeating Temple University’s Quinn Duwelius 15-10.
Following competition this weekend, The Ohio State fencing team will return to action for the December North American Cup in Baltimore, Md. from Dec. 4-7.
