Three Buckeyes qualify for 2012 Olympic Games in London

2011-12 (Senior Season): Finished her collegiate career with a seventh-place showing at the 2012 NCAA Championships in Columbus, Ohio, earning Second Team All-America accolades ... earned 29 wins during the regular season ... placed second at the Midwest Fencing Conference championships before earning gold at the Midwest Regional March 10 ... claimed ninth at Penn State's Garret Open Nov. 20 ... will compete for Bulgaria at 2012 Olympic Games in London after earning a berth at the European Zonal in Bratislava, Slovakia, in April ... OSU Scholar-Athlete ... Academic All-Big Ten.

2010-11 (Junior Season): Earned All-America honors for the second-consecutive year, picking up second-team accolades following a 16-win, fifth-place finish at the NCAA Championships ... earned 24 victories during regular season, including a season-high 11 at NYU Duals ... found her rhythm in the postseason, earning gold at the Midwest Fencing Conference Championships and fifth at the Midwest Regional Qualifier ... placed 12th at Cincinnati, Ohio, North America Cup and 18th at Dallas, Texas, NAC ... Academic All-Big Ten ... OSU Scholar-Athlete.

2009-10 (Sophomore Season): Earned First Team All-America and first-team All-Midwest Fencing Conference accolades ... Placed 30th and tied for third at the North American Cup events in Pittsburgh and San Jose, Calif., respectively ... finished only behind Alison Miller in women's sabre with 18 wins ... picked up nine wins at both the NYU Duals and the St. John's Duals ... tied for third at Midwest Fencing Conference Championships ... took home bronze at the NCAA Championships in Boston, Mass. ... 2008-09 (Freshman Season): Led women's sabre unit with 35 wins, tying Oksana Dmytruk for the lead among all Buckeye women ... tied Allison Henvick for lead among all Buckeye fencers with 19 wins at the Northwestern Duals ... took second at Midwest Fencing Conference Championships, finishing behind Notre Dame's Sarah Borrmann ... earned a trip to the NCAA Championships with a third-place finish in the NCAA Midwest Qualifier ... battled at the NCAA Championships, claiming 14 wins and a ninth-place finish ... OSU Scholar-Athlete.

Prior to Ohio State: Won bronze at the European Team Junior Championships ... twice placed third at the German Championships ... fenced for the German National Team from 2003-08 ... finished second at the OB tournament in Bonn.

Personal: Daughter of Petruuka and Georgi Tschomakova ... her father, Georgi was a fencer for the Bulgarian National Team and competed at the Olympics and world championships.
