2012-13 (Sophomore Season): Made her first appearance at the NCAA Championships where she finished 16th ... claimed fourth place at the Midwest Regional ... tied for third at the Midwest Conference Championships, earning First Team All-Midwest Conference honors ... totaled 23 wins on the season ... played an integral role on the women's foil squad that won the silver medal at the U.S. Squad Championships.

2011-12 (Freshman Season): Earned seven wins in limited action in the regular season, including a 4-1 showing at the Northwestern Duals ... placed sixth at Penn State's Garret Open Nov. 20 ... finished sixth at Midwest Fencing Conference championships ... claimed fourth at Midwest Regional.

Personal: Daughter of Talal and Kim Shaito ... has five siblings: Zain, Mona, Malak, Manal and Samar ... brother Zain and sister Mona are members of the Ohio State fencing team, both competing in foil.
