- Finished 24th overall for Team Canada at the 2017 Pan American Fencing Championships

Senior Season (2017-2018)
Finished first at the OSU Open... competed at the Elite Invitational Duals recording 14 wins...won seven of 12 bouts at the St. John's Invitational... finished 12-6 and undefeated in four rounds at Northwestern Duals...Earned the epee title as well as First Team All-Conference at MFC Championships... placed third at the NCAA Midwest Regional... defeated St. Johns’ Sean White 10-9 in overtime to win the 2018 Men’s Epee NCAA Championship.
Junior Season (2016-2017)
Claimed ten wins at Elite Invitational Duals ... earned six victories at St. John's Invitational Duals ... totaled a season-high 19-4 bout-record at Northwestern Duals ... finished MFC individual competition in second place ... helped the men's epee squad to a first place finish in team competition at MFC Championships ... claimed a third place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional, qualifying for a third appearance at NCAA Championships… finished 9th at NCAA Championships… placed 24th for Team Canada at the Pan American Fencing Championships.
Sophomore Season (2015-2016)
Fenced at the OSU Open, Elite Invitational and Northwestern Duals ... finished in first place at the OSU Open ... earned an 8-2 record at the Elite Invitational ... claimed a bronze medal after tying for third place at the Garret Penn State Open ... finished in second place at Midwest Fencing Conference Championships ... earned a third place finish at Midwest Regionals with a 10-2 record and +25 indicator ... made his second appearance at NCAA Championships, finishing the event in second place ... went 18-5 in round robin competition with a +19 indicator at the event ... defeated St. John's epeeist Yevgeniy Karuchenko, 15-14, in the semifinal bout to advance to the men's epee championship bout ... Freshman Season (2014-2015)
Competed in St. John's Invitational, Northwestern Duals, and OSU Invitational ... registered 11 wins at the OSU Invitational ... came in first place at the Garret Penn State Open, earning a gold medal ... finished in third place at Midwest Regionals ... made his first appearance at NCAA Championships ... finished in sixth place at the event ... Prior to Ohio State
Competed with Brebeuf from 2007 to 2014...took first place at a Junior World Cup in 2013...member of the Senior National Team for that same year...was Junior National Champion and finished fourth in the Junior World's ranking in 2014.
Son of Sylvain Blais and Daphnie Belanger...has two siblings, Virginie and Sophie...enjoys reading, canoeing and spending time with friends...majoring in mechanical engineering...plans to go to the Olympics in 2020 then become an aerospace engineer after graduation...greatest sports thrill was beating one of the best fencers in the world during the Senior World Championship.
