What is the Annual Giving Program?

Since its inception in 1977, the Buckeye Club's Annual Giving Program has been the home for Ohio State's most loyal and dedicated fans who have a strong commitment to providing a world-class education for our outstanding student-athletes.

The Ohio State Department of Athletics is a fully self-supporting unit within the University and receives no funding from the state or University budgets. The department offers athletic and educational opportunities to more than 1000 student-athletes in 36 varsity intercollegiate sports. During the 2007-08 academic year the Department of Athletics will pay approximately $13.5 million to the university to cover the costs of annual grant-in-aid, which includes tuition, books and room and board.

Without the support of the Annual Giving Fund, Ohio State would not be able to offer our young men and women a chance to earn a highly respected degree and the opportunity to compete at the highest level of intercollegiate athletics.

One of the benefits of the Buckeye Club's Annual Giving Program is the ability to purchase football season tickets at the Scarlet and Gray Level and above. Based on the level of giving, a member can enjoy other great benefits the Buckeye Club has to offer including ticket priority for post-season and away football games, golf course walk-on privileges and an invitation to the student-athlete banquet.
