Phil Wille is currently the Associate Director for Compliance at The Ohio State University, a position he has held since July 2011. Wille serves as the primary compliance contact for Men's Ice Hockey, Men's Wrestling, Track and Field/Cross Country and Gymnastics.
Prior to coming to Ohio State, Wille served in various sport administration positions at the University of Wyoming, culminating in his promotion to Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Academic Services in 2009. During his time at Wyoming, Wille served on the senior management team for the athletics department, while coordinating all aspects of the athletic department's compliance and student-athlete academic support programs that served 17 Division I sports. Wille also had the opportunity to provide sport administration support for the Track and Field/Cross Country and Women's Tennis programs.
A native of Hilliard, Ohio, Wille was a four time letter winner in the sport of Men's Basketball at Valparaiso University. While at Valparaiso, Wille earned both his bachelor's (2002) and juris doctorate (2005) degrees and served as a compliance intern.
Wille and his wife Katie reside in Columbus and have one daughter, Penelope.
