Andy Simon-Wambach is in his second year as an athletic trainer at Ohio State. He serves as the athletic trainer for the Buckeye women's ice hockey team and spirit program.
Simon-Wambach, grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, and is a graduate of James Madison Memorial High School. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in athletic training. As an undergraduate he spent 2 seasons with the football team and 1 season each with women's soccer and women's ice hockey.
After graduating from Wisconsin, Simon-Wambach was an intern at NCAA Division 3 University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. While there, he worked primarily with the men's and women's track and field programs and covered club sports.
Simon-Wambach is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the Ohio Athletic Trainers' Association.
