Matt Bartlebaugh is currently an Associate Director of Compliance at The Ohio State University. He serves as the primary compliance contact for Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country. Bartlebaugh also serves as the compliance staff liaison to SASSO and the Registrar's office, providing monitoring and interpretative guidance on all eligibility related issues including continuing eligibility and transfer regulations. He oversees the department's initial eligibility certification process and supervises all NCAA waivers and petitions.
Bartlebaugh came to Ohio State in June 2012 after working for a year in the Athletic Compliance Office at Michigan State. A native of Napoleon, Michigan, Bartlebaugh received his undergraduate degree in history from Michigan State University in 2007 where he was a 4-year letter winner in cross country and track and field and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative. He later received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 2010 and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.
Bartlebaugh resides in Clintonville.
