Kala Andrews is currently Assistant Director of Compliance at The Ohio State University, a position which she has held since January 2010. Andrews serves as a Compliance Representative for the Student-Athlete Activity Board (SAAB) and the primary compliance contact for Women's Basketball, Women's Rowing, Women's Ice Hockey, Men's Lacrosse, Women's Lacrosse, Men's Volleyball, Women's Volleyball, and Rifle.
Prior to joining the compliance staff full-time, Andrews served as Senior Legal Intern in the compliance office from 2008 to 2010 while finishing law school.
A native of Pickerington, Ohio, Andrews received her undergraduate degree in 2007 from Miami University (OH), where she earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science and History. She later received her Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School (2010). Andrews currently resides in Grandview and enjoys running, sand volleyball, Football Saturdays, and being a certified OHSAA official in the sports of girl's lacrosse, girl's basketball, and boy's basketball.
