The 16th-ranked and fourth-seeded Ohio State women's soccer team opens NCAA Tournament play against Oakland at 5 p.m. Saturday at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. With a win, the Buckeyes will take on the Texas A&M/Stephen F. Austin winner in the second round next weekend at a site to be determined.
The Buckeyes, on a nine-game win streak, are 16-4-1 on the season and finished second in the Big Ten regular season with an 8-2-1 record.
The squad is led by senior Tiffany Cameron, a first team All-Big Ten selection and the program's career goals leader with 39. Cameron was recently named the Offensive Player of the Tournament and guided the Buckeyes to the league tournament crown.
Tickets for Saturday's game vs. Oakland are available at OhioStateBuckeyes.com and can be purchased at the gate. The first 200 Ohio State students will get in free with a valid Buck-ID.
