CAMP DESCRIPTION

Ohio State's Team Skills Camp is an intensive camp designed for high school and high-school aged club teams of 8 or more players. Our goal is to shape all the aspects of a championship team from leadership and team goal setting to individual skills training and team systems training. Each day, teams train individual and team skills from offensive rhythm and defensive movement to serve/serve receive skills and strategies. Each session breaks down individual skills and builds them into 6-on-6 game-play scenarios where teams compete against each other head-to-head. The camp will include a pool play tournament on the last day. The Team Skills Camp offers a personalized approach as we want to address the specific needs of each coach for your upcoming season. This unique camp will provide the perfect combination of training and competition to prepare your team for the upcoming season.

All sessions will be lead by the Buckeye Coaching Staff and current student-athletes. The Buckeyes have advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 Tournament five times in the past seven years. Don't miss this great opportunity to train with the Buckeyes!.

ENROLLMENT
The fee for the Team Camp is $270 per overnight camper or $180 per day camper. The Team Camp is open to any and all girls entering grades 7 - 12 in the fall of 2017. In order to reserve a place for your team, the coach must contact Caitlin Insana (insana.6@osu.edu) and have at least one player register in full. Space is limited and this camp fills up so sign up early and join the fun! Teams must consist of a minimum of 8 players. Each team is required to have a coach or parent chaperone present for the duration of the camp. The fee for an additional coach to attend camp is $200. All coaches or parent chaperones are required to complete the Team Camp Coach Registration Form and the Buckeye Sports Camps Office background check prior to the start of camp. See Coach Registration Form for more information. Full payment is required at the time of online registration. You may register online by visiting OhioStateBuckeyes. com/camps. A 3% processing fee will be added to all online registrations. If registering by mail, please make your check payable to The Ohio State University. Any non-scholastic group of 5 or more that wishes to pay with one check for the entire group must do so ahead of time via mail. Any non-scholastic organization with a group of 5 or more registering the day of the camp must pay with credit card, cash, or money order. No exceptions will be made.

REQUIRED FORMS FOR PARTICIPATION
The Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form AND the Concussion Information Form are REQUIRED for all participants. Please visit OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps to obtain these forms. Please complete, sign and send the forms with your child to check-in - do not send the forms to us prior to the date of camp. Athletes will not be permitted to participate without these forms.

CONFIRMATION

A packet of “Important Information for Registered Campers” (including the Parent Consent & Waiver Form and Concussion Information Form) will be posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps at least 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp. This packet will not be separately mailed to campers. Please check your email regularly, as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents..

TRANSPORTATION
Port Columbus International Airport is only 15 minutes from The Ohio State University. The Ohio State Women's Volleyball Elite Camp will provide a FREE shuttle service to and from the airport for requests received in writing no later than 1 week prior to the start of camp. Written requests must be submitted to Caitlin Insana at insana.6@osu.edu.

CONFIRMATION
Upon processing of each registration, a confirmation notice will be sent by email. A packet of "Important Information for Registered Campers" (including the Parent Consent & Waiver Form and Concussion Information Form) will be posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the workshop. This packet will not be separately mailed to dancers.

Please check your email regularly, as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents.

REFUNDS
A refund less a $50 administrative fee will be issued for any cancellation received by at least 2 weeks prior to the start of camp. The administrative fee and the 3% online processing fee are not refundable for ANY reason.

Because we have to guarantee our number of campers in order to prepare for camp, any cancellation received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of camp will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injury, illness, or mandatory school event, in which case supporting documentation from a doctor or school is required.

A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Ohio State sports camp. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other camper. All cancellation notices must be received by the deadline above and submitted by mail, email, or fax - no phone calls or voicemails. All supporting documentation required for a refund to be approved and processed must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the camp session. Refund requests must be submitted on the Refund Request Form available at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. Campers who are injured while at camp but remain at camp will not be eligible for any refund.
