2007-08 (Sophomore Season) - 2008 NCAA Championships (March 20-22) marked second appearance at nationals following seventh-place finish as the seventh-seed in Big Ten championships (March 8-9) ... at NCAA championships, nearly pulled off what could have been deemed the upset of the championships; facing No. 1-seed Franklin Gomez of Michigan State; took Gomez to six tiebreakers in 5-4 loss based on four seconds of riding time ... during regular season, with Buckeyes down 15-13, entered match against Michigan's Chris Diehl with Ohio State victory on the line (Feb. 10); after defeating Diehl, 7-2, Buckeyes posted their first win (16-15) against Michigan in 14 seasons ... also defeated No. 1-ranked wrestler in the nation at Las Vegas Invitational (Nov. 30-Dec. 1); for the chance to compete for third place, pinned No. 1 Louie Ruggirello in 7:53 and went on to finish third in the event after beating Filip Novachkov, 6-4 ... at 2008 NWCA Cliff Keen National Duals (Jan. 12-13), recorded an impressive 4-1 record, compiling three major decisions and a decision ... completed Big Ten regular season with 3-4 mark, but 6-2 win over Tim Haas of Penn State in Columbus (Jan. 25) was monumental in helping Buckeyes rally from nine-point deficit on two separate occasions; with just one bout to go, posted win against Haas to pull Ohio State within three points; victory set up the pin by former teammate J Jaggers in the next match at 141 pounds and propelled Buckeyes to a 22-19 victory.

2005-06 (Freshman Season) - Competed in 2006 NCAA Championships (March 16-18) after being named second alternate ... finished eighth at Big Ten championships (March 4-5) ... 26 wins was a tie for first on the team among starters and was first on the squad in takedowns (78) and major decisions during regular season ... put up third-place effort in Michigan State Open (Nov. 12-13) in first action as a Buckeye and followed that performance with a fourth-place finish at Southern Scuffle (Dec. 29-30) ... recorded three consecutive dual meet wins, including two major decisions between Jan. 5-7 vs. Pitt, Kent State and Cleveland State ... began run by shutting out Mike Ciotti of Pittsburgh, 5-0, and went on to knock off Drew Opfer of Kent State, 11-2, and David Armstrong of Cleveland State, 13-4 ... went 3-1 at Virginia Duals, recording a fall, major decision and a decision and compiled a 2-1 record between Jan. 20-22, coming away with wins against Virginia's Eric Albright, 6-1, and Daniel Moran of Virginia Tech, 13-1.
