2009 Cross Country (Junior) Recorded two third-place during her junior campaign, the first coming at the 6k Harry Groves Invite (21:31), followed by an impressive 5k run at the All-Ohio championships (18:28) ... all-Regional selection after a 22nd-place finish at the 6k Great Lakes regional finals (21:41.7) ... 37th at the 6k Big Ten championships in 21:42.

2009 Outdoor (Sophomore) Ran a PR of 10:07.78 at the Tiger Track Classic, finishing seventh ... 15th in the 5000m at the Big Ten championships, a PR of 16:58.55.

2009 Indoor (Sophomore) Fifth-place finisher in the 5000m at the Indiana Relays in 17:28.04 ... finished 21st in the 3000m run at the Kentucky Invitational (10:28.76) ... 25th in the 5000m at the Big Ten championships.

2008 Cross Country (Sophomore) Ran a season-best time at the 5k Mel Brodt Invitational, finishing 18th in 19:15.48 ... placed 9th at the Purdue Invitational (19:19.81) ... 70th at the Big Ten championships and 84th at NCAA regionals.

2007 Cross Country (Freshman) Led the Buckeyes with three Top 10 finishes on the season ... had a season-best finish at the Falcon Invite with a fifth-place finish in a time of 18:31 ... finished sixth at the Mel Brodt Invite in a time of 18:09.40... placed ninth overall at the Queen City Invitational in 18:51.85.

Thomas Worthington High School Finished fifth at the 2007 Ohio High School championships in the 3200-meter run in a time of 11:02.81 ... placed third in the 3200m relay at State in 2007... indoor state champion in the 3200m relay in 2007 ... finished fourth in 2006 at state's in the 3200m in a time of 11:32.78 ... finished second in the team competition with a seventh-place overall finish at the 2007 OHSAA cross country championships in a time of 18:25 ... finished eighth in 2005 at the cross country state meet in a time of 18:44.

Personal Daughter of Dan and Meg Birmingham ... has one brother, Eric ... plans to attend physical therapy school after graduation.

About Ohio State Athletics

The Ohio State University Department of Athletics sponsors 36 fully funded varsity teams – 17 for women, 16 for men and three co-educational. The department is committed to providing its more than 1,000 student-athletes with the finest in academic and athletics support in order to ensure a quality and life-enhancing experience. The Department of Athletics is completely self-supporting and receives no university monies, tax dollars or student fees. In Fiscal Year 2009-10, the Department of Athletics will transfer back to the University more than $29 million in assessments, including $14.5 million in grant-in-aid costs.
