Patrick Woods begins his first season as a volunteer coach for the Ohio State men's track and field team after competing for four years with the Buckeyes (2005-2009). He will work primarily with student-athletes in multi-events.

2006 Indoor (Sophomore) Second on the team in the long jump with his leap of 20-1 at the Scarlet and Gray Invitational ... second best vertical leap in the high jump at the Ohio State Invitational of 6-7 1/4.
2005 Outdoor (Freshman) Added one team point for the Buckeyes at the Big Ten championships with season-best high jump of 6-6 3/4 ... had a pair of second place finishes at the Cardinal Invite and Jesse Owens Track Classic.
2005 Indoor (Freshman) Placed second at Indiana/Purdue Tri-Meet, clearing high jump bar at 6-9 1/2 ... placed first at Kent State with leap of 6-8 ... had 6-8 1/2 for runner-up at Ohio State Invite ... scored one team point at Big Ten's with eighth-place mark of 6-7 1/2 ... competed in long jump.
