Sophomore Dean Wolosiansky will start on Sunday against in-state rival Cincinnati.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – With the start of the season just days away, junior Ben Toussant and sophomore Dean Wolosiansky took time to talk about the upcoming Florida weekend in which the Ohio State baseball team will be participating in the Big East/Big Ten Challenge. The Buckeyes will face Notre Dame on Friday, Connecticut on Saturday and will close out the weekend with Cincinnati on Sunday.

Toussant, a junior from Upper Arlington, is a valuable Buckeye to have in the dugout and can fill a diverse number of roles on the playing field – first base, outfielder, catcher and pinch-hitter. He played in 17 games with three starts as a sophomore and was second on the team in pinch hit at-bats (2-for-8).

Wolosiansky, sophomore from Uniontown, Ohio, is coming off a freshman All-America year and is the most experienced returning starter for the Buckeye rotation. He posted a 7-4 overall record and a 5-2 mark in Big Ten play last season and his 4.22 earned run average, seven wins and three complete games were best on the team.
