Archbishop Moeller H.S.:  A two-year starter and letterman for coach Mike Cameron, who retired after the 2007 season as the winningest baseball coach in Ohio high school history ... named first-team all-Ohio as a senior by the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association ...also named all-Greater Catholic League ... team finished 27-4 and won the district championship ... had a 0.89 ERA as a senior with 80 strikeouts in 55 innings ... finished high school career with 1.20 ERA and 143 strikeouts in 105 innings ... also batted .429 with 30 RBI ... career .457 average is highest in school history ... first pitcher to throw a perfect game in school history ... was a first-team all-city all-star and was voted the most outstanding player and best pitcher in the city all-star game as a junior.
