Kalafatis on Hillman: “Dee Dee was super in the lead-off spot this fall. She was consistent and has a greater grasp of what we need her to do. She needs to get on base because we have some people behind her that can drive her in. We worked her some in centerfield so she’ll be prepared to play left or center, not only does she get to the ball quickly, but she has s a very accurate throw and she gets rid of the ball very quickly.”
