Buckeye Bits: Heads into the season listed as the strong side linebacker replacing Larry Grant ... returning off a medical redshirt ... played in all 37 games from 2004-06 ... very athletic and plays well in space ... has all the tools to be an effective blitzer.

2007 (Sophomore): Did not see action all season ... bothered by recurring foot and ankle sprains.

2006 (Junior): Played in all 13 games and made three starts ... started vs. Iowa and Minnesota at weakside linebacker and vs. Michigan on the strong side ... collected 17 tackles, including 3.5 behind the line of scrimmage ... broke up two passes ... forced a fumble against Penn State and recovered one at Illinois ... had season-high three tackles in the home wins over Cincinnati and Penn State ... his tackles behind the line of scrimmage came at Texas, at Michigan State and vs. Minnesota.

2005 (Sophomore): Played in all 12 games, with almost all of his time coming with the special teams ... had two tackles – one against Texas on kickoff coverage and the other against Northwestern.

2004 (Freshman): Carved a niche for himself with the special teams and played in all 12 games ... was a member of the punt coverage, punt return, kickoff and kick return units ... earned his first varsity letter.

High School: Lettered in football, basketball and track ... won all-state honors as a senior in football when he had 25 tackles-for-loss, including 12 sacks ... at one time or another played quarterback, running back, defensive end, safety and linebacker during his three years of football ... also a two-year starter on the basketball team ... competed in the 200-meters and the 4x100 and the 4x400 relays in track as a junior and qualified for the state in the 200 ... did not run track as a senior.

Personal: Son of Tommy Miller and Angela Terry ... has five siblings ... enjoys video games as a way of relaxing ... would like to start a community center after his playing days are over and help underprivileged children.

The Ohio State University Department of Athletics sponsors 36 fully funded varsity teams – 17 for women, 16 for men and three co-educational. The department is committed to providing its more than 1,000 student-athletes with the finest in academic and athletics support in order to ensure a quality and life-enhancing experience. The Department of Athletics is completely self-supporting and receives no university monies, tax dollars or student fees. In Fiscal Year 2009-10, the Department of Athletics will transfer back to the University more than $29 million in assessments, including $14.5 million in grant-in-aid costs.
