Ohio State Sends Three To NFL Combine

Barton, Grant, Gholston to perform for scouts

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Three former Ohio State football players will be among the professional football prospects undergoing testing and drills at the National Football League Combine Feb. 20-26 at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis.

All-America offensive tackle Kirk Barton, a first team all-Big Ten selection as a junior and senior; linebacker Larry Grant, who made 14 career starts for the Buckeyes; and All-American Vernon Gholston , who declared for the draft after earning Big Ten defensive lineman of the year honors as a junior, were invited to participate by the NFL.

Offensive linemen will work out on Saturday, while defensive linemen and linebackers are on the schedule for Monday.
