Hendricks Mid-Season Watch List Announced

Chicago, IL - The Ted Hendricks Foundation has announced its mid-season watch list for the 2007 Ted Hendricks Defensive End of the Year Award. Several additions have been made since the original list was published. This list will be shortened to include five to six finalists in November, and the final vote will be concluded on December 3rd. The 2007 Hendricks Award winner will be announced December 5th.

When asked about the crop of NCAA defensive ends this season, Ted Hendricks had the following to say:

“This has been a very unusual year, not only for the collegiate teams but for the DE's. The award is still up for the player that excels in the second half of the season and I encourage all to help their teams in this final half of the season.”
