ENTRY DEADLINE
Entries, Forms and Fees must be postmarked no later than March 6, 2008. Use Postal Form #3817 to verify mailing date. (If a qualifying event is held after the entry deadline for this competition, a provisional entry must be submitted according to the above deadline. Within 72 hours of the completion of the qualifying competition, the proof of qualification must be submitted by phone and in writing to the Meet Manager).

FEE INFORMATION
Entry Fee - $15 per competitor per routine, including alternates. Make check payable to USSS. Any swimmer who is listed as an alternate for a routine and who is not swimming any other routine event shall pay the entry fee. (Rulebook, Appendix C)
Surcharge - $5 per competitor, including alternates. This surcharge was instituted at the 2007 USAS convention to assist in covering travel expenses of Scoring personnel. Make check payable to USSS. (Rulebook, Appendix C)
Sponsor Fee - $25 per competitor. Make check payable to The Ohio State University.
Credentials - Each club will receive 2 coach credentials per 10 credentialed athletes. In addition, each club will receive 2 team personnel credentials.
Tickets - Spectator tickets will be required for all events. Tickets are $10.00 for each day of the competition. All-Event Passes will be $25.00. Tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-GOBUCKS, by logging on to www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com or by purchasing at the event. The ticket office, and the main entrance for spectators, is located on the north side of the McCorkle Aquactic Pavilion.
Parking - The Neil Avenue Garage, located just south of the pool, will be the designated parking garage for team cars and vans that purchase a parking pass. The parking pass will be $10.00 per vehicle for the duration of the competition. Parking for officials is complimentary. All team busses will be parked at Ohio Stadium; busses may drop off participants at the designated locations, which can be found on the map accompanying this announcement. Please note that the Neil Avenue garage is for teams and officials only. Please advise all fans to park in the Tuttle Park Garage, located on Tuttle Park Place Drive off of Woody Hayes Drive, just north of the pool.

DIRECTIONS TO THE UNIVERSITY PLAZA HOTEL
From Port Columbus International Airport: Take I-670 west to State Route 315 north. Exit at Ackerman Rd and turn right on Ackerman Rd. Proceed to the third traffic light and turn left on Olentangy River Rd. The hotel is 0.5 mile on the right.

From Cleveland: Take 71 South to the North Broadway exit (exit 114). Turn right on North Broadway and head West for approximately 2 miles. The intersection under the freeway overpass is Olentangy River Rd. Turn left on Olentangy. The University Plaza Hotel is approximately ½ mile on the left side.

From Cincinnati: Take 71 North to State Route 315 North. Take State Route 315 North to North Broadway exit. Turn right on Olentangy River Road. The University Plaza Hotel is approximately 1/2 mile on the left side (turn left at the traffic signal into the front area of the hotel).

From the East: Take 70 West to 71 North. Take 71 North to North Broadway exit (exit 114). Turn left on North Broadway and head west for approximately 2 miles. The intersection under the freeway overpass is Olentangy River Road. Turn left on Olentangy. From the South: Take I-71 North to SR 315 North. Take SR 315 North to the Medical Center Exit. Go straight on Medical Center Drive. Make a left on Neil Avenue. Make a left into the alley (the alley will be past 12th Ave). Parking garage will be on the left. Pool will be straight ahead.

From the East (Airport): Take I-670 West to Neil Avenue Exit. Make a right at Neil Avenue. Make a left into the alley (the alley will be past 12th Ave). Parking garage will be on the left. Pool will be straight ahead.

From the West: I-70 East to I-670 East. Exit at Neil Avenue. Make a left on Neil Avenue. Make a left into the alley (the alley will be past 12th Ave). Parking garage will be on the left. Pool will be straight ahead.

From the Columbus: Teams will load and unload on the south side of the hotel on Lynn Street. Go west on Lynn Street. Make a left on Fourth Street. Take 1-670 West. Make a right on Neil Avenue. From the Blackwell: Make a left out of the hotel onto Tuttle Park Place. Make a right on Woody Hayes Drive. Make a left on Cannon Drive. Make a left on Medical Center Drive. Make a rigth on 9th Avenue. Make a left on Neil Avenue. Make a left into the alley (the alley will be past 12th Ave). Parking garage will be on the left. Pool will be straight ahead.

From the Fairfield Inn and Suites: From the hotel parking lot, turn right onto Olentangy River Road. Make a left at John Herrick Drive. Make a right on Cannon Drive. Make a left on Medical Center Drive. Make a left on Neil Avenue. Make a left into the alley (the alley will be past 12th Ave). Parking garage will be on the left. Pool will be straight ahead.

From the Crowne Plaza: Go west on Nationwide Blvd. Turn right onto North High Street. Turn left onto West Goodale Street. Merge onto SR 315 North. Take the Medical Center exit. Make a left on Cannon Drive. Make a right on 12th Ave. Make a left on Neil Avenue. Make a left into the alley. Parking garage will be on the left. Pool will be straight ahead.

From the University Plaza: Turn left out of the parking lot onto Olentangy River Road. Make a left at John Herrick Drive. Make a right on Cannon Drive. Make a left on Medical Center Drive. From the Holiday Inn on Lane: Turn right out of the parking lot onto Lane Ave. Make a left onto Olentangy River Road. Make a left at John Herrick Drive. Make a right on Cannon Drive. PARKING
All fans are encouraged to park in the Tuttle Park Garage (located on Tuttle Park Place Drive off of Woody Hayes Drive, just north of the pool).

GROUND TRANSPORTATION
All major rental car companies are available at all the International airports.

POOL SPECS

VENUE RULES
• No balloons, noisemakers, or other irritants are permitted in the facility.
• No food is permitted on the deck. Water bottles will be allowed.
• Teams will be permitted to have coolers outside facility only.
• There will be a designated gelling area at the pool. Please gel only in this area.
• Entry and exit from the bulkhead, and walking across the bulkhead is not permitted.

SOUND SYSTEM
An Oceanears sound system with a variable speed cassette deck and variable speed CD player will be used.

FOOD SERVICES
A concession stand will be open each day of the competition. No glass or food is permitted on the pool deck.

OFFICIALS AND COACHES HOSPITALITY
Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be available in the hospitality area throughout the competition beginning Thursday morning. Please allow officials to eat first.

PROGRAM
Participating universities may email or mail photos to the Meet Managers for the official program for $25. Deadline is Feb. 11. Attach a caption listing the order of the swimmers pictured.

TEAM BANNERS
One professionally made banner per team may be hung. Please turn in at registration.

MEDIA SERVICES
To assist the USSS Media Relations Director at the event, please bring a phone/fax list of your university's local media outlets. You can acquire this list from your school's or athletic department's Sports Information Office or university Media Relations department.

ATHLETIC TRAINING STAFF
Ohio State's athletic training staff will be available throughout the competition, but they are only to administer heat, ice, and emergency first aid to non-Ohio-State students. If your team is accompanied by a certified athletic trainer, your athletic trainer may use our facilities to administer care. (ie. an athletic trainer from Harvard may use our ultrasound machine to administer ultrasound on a Harvard athlete.) Please provide treatment notes/scripts from a certified athletic trainer or team physician for treatments such as ultrasound and e-stim for athletes that are not accompanied by a certified athletic trainer. Ohio States's staff will also provide a cooler of water on deck throughout the competition.

PHOTO REGULATIONS
Any photographs, videotape or other audio and/or visual recordings of the event created by a spectator may be used solely for such spectator's personal non-commercial use, and may not be broadcast, published or disseminate or used for any commercial purposes, without the prior written consent of U.S. Synchronized Swimming.
