2007-08 (Redshirt Season): Sat out campaign while recovering from leg injury.

2006-07 (Junior Season): Played in 24 games ... had three points, including two assists ... scored first career goal against Minnesota Oct. 20 ... had assists at Bowling Green Nov. 18 and vs. Minnesota Duluth Dec. 29 in the Ohio Hockey Classic ... 50 penalty minutes to tie for second on the squad ... career-high 18 penalty minutes vs. Michigan Feb. 24, including a game disqualification that forced him to miss the first playoff game at Northern Michigan  ... had 14 PIM against Alaska Jan. 5 ... 22 shots on the season, including three against the Falcons Nov. 18.

2005-06 (Sophomore Season): Saw action in career-best 25 games, including 23 of the last 27 games on the year ... posted an assist at Western Michigan Oct. 29 in first game of the season for first career point; also had a shot and was +1 in the game ... +1 rating at Notre Dame Nov. 26 and at Miami Feb. 14 ... just one minus rating on the year ... ended the season with 25 penalty minutes ... missed Notre Dame series Jan. 27-28 with an injury.

2004-05 (Freshman Season): Saw first action as a Buckeye Oct. 10 vs. St. Cloud State in the Ice Breaker Tournament in Durham, N.H.

Prior to Ohio State: Played for the Boston Bulldogs ... served as team captain for the squad ... played in 48 games in 2003-04, with 14-23-37 totals and a +55 plus/minus rating, as well as 60 PIM ... was named best defenseman of the Pro-Am Predraft tournament as his team won the title ... earned Hockey Night in Boston All-Scholastic Tournament first team honors ... coached by Mike Addesa with the Bulldogs ... won a state championship with Waterville High School ... posted 75 goals and 86 assists in three years at Waterville ... graduated from Lexington High School in 2003.

Off the Ice: Born in Waterville, Maine ... 24 years old ... son of Alan and Jeanne  ... nicknames include Pelts, Pelly, and Attack ... favorite things to do are spending time with family and friends, shooting his shotgun, fishing, working out, hiking and tubing.

The Ohio State University Department of Athletics sponsors 36 fully funded varsity teams – 17 for women, 16 for men and three co-educational. The department is committed to providing its more than 1,000 student-athletes with the finest in academic and athletics support in order to ensure a quality and life-enhancing experience. The Department of Athletics is completely self-supporting and receives no university monies, tax dollars or student fees. In Fiscal Year 2009-10, the Department of Athletics will transfer back to the University more than $29 million in assessments, including $14.5 million in grant-in-aid costs.
