Address/Telephone
The physical address and phone number for Ohio Stadium is 411 Woody Hayes Drive, Columbus, OH 43210, 614-292-6330.

Aisle Traffic/Section Entry
Guests are urged to arrive at their seats well in advance of kickoff. As a courtesy to other guests, please remain at your seat until the play has ended. Guests should be sure their correct ticket stubs are with them and available throughout the game to assist in seat verification and entry into each aisle or section.

Alcohol Policy
Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted in Ohio Stadium. Guests identified with alcohol inside the stadium may be ejected and will have the alcohol confiscated. Possession and consumption of alcohol in the stadium parking areas are subject to the laws and regulations of the State of Ohio and/or City of Columbus. Police and Liquor Control Agents patrol these areas and enforce all applicable laws.

ATMs
ATMs are located throughout the stadium at the following locations: 4A, 5A, 39A, and in the Huntington Club.

Auto Assistance
As a service to Ohio Stadium guests, limited complimentary vehicle assistance may be available in any campus parking lot or garage. Service is available before, during and up to one hour after any event. Please contact Transportation and Parking at 614-292-5148 for assistance on game days.

 

B

Baby Changing/Nursing Mothers
Most of the restrooms in Ohio Stadium are equipped with diaper-changing tables. For private accommodations, guests can use specific family restrooms located near sections 9A, 11A, 12A, 20A, 23A, 33A, 37A, 38A, 23C, 24C and 19D. Guests may also visit the First Aid Stations located at 16A, 17A, 11B, 12B, 23C, 24C and 32A.

Bags
Bags larger than 14” x 14” are prohibited in Ohio Stadium. Guests attempting to enter Ohio Stadium with a larger bag will be asked to return it to their vehicle. All bags are subject to search.

Banners, Posters, and Signs
Banners, posters and signs are prohibited in Ohio Stadium. Guests will be asked to return them to their vehicle or dispose of them upon entry.

Bicycle Parking
Bicycle parking areas are located on the west side of the RPAC (Recreation Center) and at the “Pedal Instead” Bicycle Valet Corral located at Woody Hayes Drive along the Olentangy River bike path. Booking Events in Ohio Stadium
The Huntington Club, University Suite and Recruit Room within Ohio Stadium offer ideal banquet facilities for groups of 20 to 220 guests to host your special event. These spaces are available any time except for game/event days, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays of a home football game weekend and holidays. For information, date availability and pricing, you can go on-line and view the Facility Rental Guidelines webpage or email rothb@buckeyes.ath.ohio-state.edu.

 

C

Cameras
Cameras are permitted in Ohio Stadium. However, cameras with detachable lenses are prohibited. At no time may photography interfere with other guests.

Comments/Concerns
If you would like to recognize outstanding service or you have a complaint, please contact the Department of Athletics Event Management Team by email at penner.2@osu.edu or fill out a comment card obtained at a Guest Service Booth. You may also fill out a guest incident report at a Guest Services Booth at Gate 13, Gate 14 or Gate 38 or on-line to www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com.

Concessions
There are nearly 200 concession stands located throughout Ohio Stadium. Guests who would like water may request a courtesy cup from any permanent concession stand.

Credit Cards/Buck ID
For your convenience, all major credit cards are accepted at all permanent concessions and merchandise stands. The permanent concession stands in the following locations accept Buck ID: 4A, 3A, 9A, 13A, 15A, all stands in C Deck and South Stands.

 

D

Directions
On game day select streets on and around campus become one way. Upon completion of the game, the patterns will be reversed. Traffic control officers will direct you. Guests with parking passes should follow the directions on their parking passes.

Campus may be accessed from exits on SR-315 north and south and I-71 north and south. Please note along these routes for available exits as exit availability may be adjusted due to construction. Please Note:

1. Guests are asked to allow for plenty of extra time to get to the game as there will be traffic delays due to the construction on SR-315.
2. Directions given on GPS systems may not be accurate on game days.
3. Please visit tp.osu.edu/Events/football.shtml for additional details, up-to-date information, and parking maps.

 

E

Elevators
Elevators are located in the following areas of Ohio Stadium:
1. Four elevators are located on the west side of Ohio Stadium between gates 17-23, which provide access to the Club Levels, and to disability seating on D deck (guests need a green sticker on their ticket to access this elevator to D Deck).
2. One elevator is located in the South Stands near Section 39 and only provides access to seats in South Stands.
3. Two elevators are located near section 7 that access B and C Decks.
4. Two elevators are located near section 10 that access B and C Decks.

Emergency Contact
To contact someone during a game in the event of an emergency, please call 614-292-1996. Event Staff will be on hand to assist you. If the situation can be addressed, the event staff will attempt to deliver a message to their seat location. Using the public address system for paging within the Stadium is reserved only for extreme emergencies.

Emergencies and Evacuation Procedures
In the event of a serious emergency, all Event Staff, Redcoats, Ushers, Law Enforcement and Fire personnel are available to assist guests, including those with disabilities. Information will also be provided over the public address system and on stadium televisions and scoreboards.

 

F

First Aid Stations
First aid stations are located throughout Ohio Stadium at 16A, 17A, 11B, 12B, 23C, 24C and 32A. These stations are staffed two hours prior to kickoff and will remain open for 20 minutes after the game.

 

G

Game Programs
Programs for the 2009 football season are available outside the Stadium, inside the entrance gates, on the various concourses and decks and at the merchandise stands throughout the Stadium.

Gates Open
Ohio Stadium gates will open two hours prior to kickoff. St. John Arena doors will open four hours prior to kickoff for The Ohio State University Marching Band’s Skull Session.

Guest Services Booths
Guest Services booths are located near Gate 13, Gate 14 and Gate 38. The friendly and knowledgeable staff members are available to assist our guests with potential questions, comments or concerns. Open for business from gate opening until the crowd clears, our Guest Service Booth staff members are in place to help ensure our guests receive outstanding customer service at Ohio Stadium.

 

L

Lost and Found
Lost and Found is located in the north rotunda near Section 1A and remains open for 30 minutes after the game. Any unclaimed items will be moved to the Ohio Stadium Facility Operations Office at (614) 292-6330.

Lost Persons
Any report of a lost person will be acted on immediately by event personnel to locate and return the person to his or her parent(s), guardian(s) or companion(s). Guests should contact any Law Enforcement Officer, Redcoat, Usher or Event Staff for prompt initiation of lost person search procedures. If a parent, guardian or companion is not located, the lost person will be taken to the Police Room located near the elevators near Section 17A for further efforts in locating the parent(s), guardian(s) or companion(s).

 

M

Medical Emergency
If assistance is needed in the stands, please contact the nearest Red Coat, Usher, Concession Worker, Law Enforcement Officer, Columbus Fire Department Paramedic or go to the nearest First Aid Room.

Medical Gates
Guests that provide a doctor’s note demonstrating a specific need for medication or chair back seats may enter the Stadium at Gates 9, 16 and 25 ONLY.

Merchandise
Authentic Buckeye merchandise may be purchased throughout the Stadium. The Official Team Shops are located at Section 11A, 12A, 23A, 24A, 16C, in the south stands and in the Huntington Club. National Anthem
The Ohio State University Marching Band plays the National Anthem as part of their popular pre-game show.

 

P

Parking
Please visit tp.ohio-state.edu for parking maps, shuttle services, construction updates and additional information.
1. DAY OF GAME LOTS: Parking is available day of game on a first-come, first-served basis. The charge for these lots is $10. Those holding current valid Ohio State Parking Permits (A, B, C, etc.) may park in these lots free of charge. Shuttle service to Ohio Stadium is available free of charge for guests who park on west campus (parking lots west of SR 315).
2. DISABILITY LOTS: Disability Parking will be located in the lots north of St. John Arena and in the Neil Avenue Garage. These areas will both be accessible, while space is available, from the east via High Street to Woodruff. A current state issued disability placard, along with registration, and the person who owns the placard must be in the vehicle to enter the parking area. (Officers may validate ownership of the placard at any time.) A shuttle will transport fans from the parking lots north of St. John Arena to Gate 18, which is located on the east side of Ohio Stadium. There will also be shuttle service from the Neil Avenue Garage to the Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC) loop, located near the southeast corner of Ohio Stadium. This shuttle will operate from six hours prior to kickoff until one hour after the game.
3. SEASON PERMIT LOTS: These lots are reserved for those who have purchased a season parking permit. Spaces in these lots are held for permit holders until 90 minutes prior to kickoff.
4. RV LOTS: All RV parking on The Ohio State University campus is sold in advance of game day through the Athletic Department website at ohiostatebuckeyes.com. Please visit tp.osu.edu for RV parking maps and information.
a. The Season RV Parking Lot, which is located next to Bill Davis Stadium is reserved for season ticket holders only.
b. Passes fo the Day of Game RV Parking Lot, which is located on Fred Taylor Drive across the street from Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium, must be purchased in advance of game day by going to www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com through the ticket office page. Day of Game RV Parking Lot passes can only be purchased on a game by game basis. All RV parking spaces are numbered and pre-assigned. RV parking passes WILL NOT be for sale on game days.

Pets/Service Animals
Animals, except for trained K-9 dogs or service animals assisting disabled visitors, are not permitted in Ohio Stadium.

Playing Field
Guests may not enter the playing field at any time. VIOLATORS ARE SUBJECT TO ARREST AND MAY BE PROSECUTED.

Prohibited Items
The following items are not permitted in Ohio Stadium:
Alcohol, Baby Strollers, Bags (larger than 14” x 14”), Balls, Banners, Beverages, Bottles, Cameras with detachable lenses, Chair back seats, Containers, Weapons, Drugs, Fireworks, Flags, Food, Frisbees, Ice chests, Irritants, Knives, Noisemakers, Picnic baskets, Televisions or Radios without headsets, Signs, Thermoses and Video Recorders

Prohibited Behavior
Examples of prohibited behavior include, but are not limited to: throwing objects of any kind; demonstrating unruly behavior; attempting to enter the field of play; engaging in behavior that endangers the safety of student athletes, coaches, officials or other guests; attempting to climb the goal posts; removing Ohio Stadium turf; and/or taunting public safety officials. Consequences for guests exhibiting prohibited behavior include, but are not limited to: loss of ticket buying privileges, ejection from the Stadium, and/or arrest.

Public Announcements
Special announcements on the public address system are limited to medical and police emergencies.

Public Phones
Public pay phones are located near sections 6A, 15A, 22A, 12B and 39A.

Public Transportation/Taxi Services
The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) provides a football game day shuttle service between the Ohio Expo Center and State Fairgrounds and the OSU campus. Shuttles begin operating from the Expo Center three hours prior to kick-off and operate until two hours following the conclusion of the game. For the 2009 football season, the cost to park at the Ohio Expo Center will be $5, and the cost to ride the shuttle is $4 per person round trip. More information can be found at www.cota.com.

Radio Broadcasts
The flagship station for Ohio State football games is WBNS Radio 1460-AM The Fan.

Radios and Televisions
Handheld radios and televisions are permitted as long as you listen with an earpiece or headphone.

Re-Entry
Guests will NOT be permitted to re-enter Ohio Stadium once they leave.

Restrooms
Men’s and Women’s restrooms are located throughout Ohio Stadium. ADA accessible restrooms are located near sections 8A, 9A, 10A, 11A, 17A, 18A, 19A, 28A, 33A, 34A, 37A, 38A, 3B, 12B, 28B, 7C, 10C, 11C, 13C, 14C, 15C, 19C, 20C, 23C, 28C, 29C, 17D, 19D, 25D. Family restrooms are located near sections 9A, 11A, 12A, 20A, 23A, 33A, 37A, 38A, 23C, 24C, 19D.

 

S

Seatback Chairs
Seatback Chairs are available on a season basis. To order a seatback chair, please contact 866-910-9290 or buckeyecushions.com. Seat cushions are allowed to be brought into the stadium. Guests that provide a doctor’s note demonstrating a specific need for their own chair back seat may enter the Stadium at Gates 9, 14 and 25 ONLY.

Security Checks
All bags, containers or persons are subject to search. Cooperation with game management and security personnel will help maintain Ohio Stadium as a safe and secure environment for all guests.

Scoreboard Messaging
Ohio Stadium does not display birthday, anniversary or other personal messages on the scoreboard.

Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited in all areas within the gates of the Stadium.

Solicitation/Literature
Setting up a promotional space and/or distributing banners, booklets, business cards, circulars, commercial advertising, flyers, folders, handbills, leaflets, notices, pamphlets, posters, stickers, or any other written, printed and/or painted materials in or around Ohio Stadium and campus without the permission of The Ohio State University Department of Athletics is prohibited.

 

T

Tailgating
Possession and consumption of alcohol in the Stadium parking areas are subject to the laws and regulations of the State of Ohio and/or City of Columbus Police. Liquor Control agents patrol these areas and enforce all applicable laws.

Companies are prohibited from issuing free or sample products without the approval of The Ohio State University. Those who wish to organize and provide such sites or services should contact the Department of Athletics at 614-292-4792 for permission.

Guests without football parking permits who are interested in setting up a tailgate should plan to set up those tailgates in any Day-of-Game Parking Lot. Day-of-game parking spaces are available at 6am on the day of the game on a first-come, first-served basis. Season permit parking spaces and RV parking spaces are reserved for those who have purchased a parking permit. Information about obtaining a parking permit can be found by contacting the Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-GO-BUCKS.

Tailgating activities should not take up vacant parking spaces or interfere with traffic flow within a parking lot. Drive lanes in parking lots must be maintained at all times. Parking permit holders are responsible for the functions they host in their parking spaces.

Ticket Policies

1. GENERAL POLICIES
a. Admittance Policy – Everyone regardless of age is required to have a ticket, credential, or be on a pass list to gain admission.
b. Disability Seating - Guests requiring disability seating should contact the ticket office three weeks in advance at 614-292-2624. Questions concerning disability parking should be directed to Transportation and Parking Services at 614-292-9341 or the ticket office.
c. Lost/Stolen Tickets - Guests reporting lost/stolen tickets should contact the ticket office in advance at 614-292-2624.
d. Resale of tickets - Please be advised tickets purchased from ticket scalpers may not be valid. Tickets reported as lost or stolen will be voided and will receive an invalid scan at the gates. Guests with an invalid scan will have no recourse and will not be permitted to enter the Stadium.
e. Ticket Problems – Guests experiencing ticket problems after entering the gates of Ohio Stadium should contact the nearest Usher or Redcoat for assistance. Guests also may report to the Guest Services window which is located at the ticket office near gate 7.
2. DISCOUNTED TICKETS: Discounted tickets refer to tickets offered to the University community (students and faculty/staff) at a reduced rate. Access to Ohio State football tickets is a privilege extended to Ohio State students, faculty and staff. This privilege does not entitle anyone to abuse the ticket policies by scalping or misusing assigned tickets. Given the high demand for Ohio State football tickets and the desire to allow maximum usage of tickets by the student population and by current employees of the university, the following steps have been implemented:
a. Discounted student and faculty/staff tickets require appropriate OSU ID prior to entering the gates of Ohio Stadium.
b. Students and faculty/staff electing to let the general public use their ticket are required to come to the ticket office to exchange their discounted ticket for a full price public ticket. In addition, they are required to pay the difference between the discounted price and the public price as well as any service charges that apply.
c. This exchange of student and faculty/staff discounted tickets for a public ticket must be made prior to the day of the game.
d. Students and faculty/staff will retain the ability to allow other members of the Ohio State community to use their discounted tickets provided they have the required OSU identification.
e. Individuals abusing their ticket privileges may lose all future ticket buying privileges.
3. FACULTY/STAFF TICKETS:
a. Guests with faculty/staff season tickets will be required to present a valid OSU ID at the gate to gain admission. One valid OSU ID gets two faculty/staff season ticket holders into the game.
b. These tickets may be picked up at the Athletics Ticket Office in the Jerome Schottenstein Center through the end of the second quarter.
4. STUDENT TICKETS:
a. Guests with student season tickets are required to present a valid OSU Student ID at the gate to gain admission. Anyone who has a student season ticket and does not have an ID will not be permitted to enter the Stadium.
b. These tickets may be picked up at the Athletics Ticket Office in the Jerome Schottenstein Center through the end of the second quarter.
5. PLAYER WILL CALL TICKETS:
a. The OSU Player Will Call is located at the Ticket Office near Gate 7. This area opens two hours prior to kickoff and will remain open until the end of the first half. Individuals receiving tickets from players must show ID and immediately enter the stadium.
b. The Visiting Team Player Will Call is located at the ticket booths near Gate 8.
6. RECRUIT TICKETS:
a. Football recruits must enter the Stadium through the Recruit Room at the southeast tower between Gates 26 and 32. The Recruit Room will remain open until the end of the first half.
b. Non-football recruits must enter the Stadium at the Ticket Office near Gate 7.
c. Individuals receiving Recruit Tickets must show ID and immediately enter the stadium.

 

U

Umbrellas
Guests may carry umbrellas into Ohio Stadium for use before and after the game, but umbrellas are NOT permitted to be opened in the seating areas of Ohio Stadium.

Ushers/ Redcoats
Guests should contact the nearest Usher or Redcoat for assistance in seating locations, medical emergencies, or for anything else that might make the visit more enjoyable.

Visiting Team Fans
Visiting team fans are guests of Ohio Stadium. Harassment of the visiting team or its fans will not be tolerated and may result in ejection of the offender.

 

W

Water Fountains
Water fountains are located near sections 17A, 18A, 18C, 19C and on D Deck. Guests who would like water may request a courtesy cup from any concession stand.

About Ohio State Athletics
The Ohio State University Department of Athletics sponsors 36 fully funded varsity teams – 17 for women, 16 for men and three co-educational. The department is committed to providing its more than 1,000 student-athletes with the finest in academic and athletics support in order to ensure a quality and life-enhancing experience. The Department of Athletics is completely self-supporting and receives no university monies, tax dollars or student fees. In Fiscal Year 2009-10, the Department of Athletics will transfer back to the University more than $29 million in assessments, including $14.5 million in grant-in-aid costs.
