A three-year varsity member of the rowing program, Miedema was a part of the 2013 NCAA Championship Ohio State rowing team, which made history as the first Big Ten team to win a national team title in rowing and the first women's program at Ohio State to win an NCAA Championship.

Ohio State will play four regular season games at night for the first time in program history in 2014. The Big Ten Network revealed its slate of eight primetime night games for the upcoming season and Ohio State's home game against Cincinnati Sept. 27 has been selected to start at 6 p.m.

Driss Guessous Named an All-American & Newcomer of the Year

Redshirt freshman Driss Guessous was selected as an All-American by The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) in its 24th annual Division I-II Men's All-America Teams. Guessous is one of just 20 players, and the only fresheman, chosen as 2014 All-Americans. He earned a spot on the AVCA All-America Second Team.
