ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Ninth-ranked Ohio State (9-2, 6-1 Big Ten) made the 3-1/2 hour drive north to Ann Arbor Friday afternoon for the 106th meeting of "the greatest rivalry in sports" at Noon Saturday at Michigan Stadium. The game will be televised by ABC.

Team buses took the players directly to Michigan Stadium for a brief 10-minute walk-through before heading back to the hotel.

Ohio State clinched at least a share of its fifth-straight Big Ten title last Saturday with its win over Iowa and will be looking to win the 2009 title outright with a victory tomorrow.

Michigan leads the historic series, 57-42-6, though Ohio State has won the last five. Since 1951, the Buckeyes hold a 30-26-2 lead, including victories in seven of the eight games during the Jim Tressel era. The two teams first met in 1897 and the rivalry has been continuous since 1918. Since 1935, the game has been the traditional conference finale between the two schools.
